Our open-source tools go to Black Hat!

June 26, 2023

Exciting News Alert!

We’re thrilled to announce that our groundbreaking tools, Faraday and EmploLeaks, have been selected to be part of this year’s prestigiousBlack HatArsenal! ⚡

Faraday, our renowned open-source platform, will be showcased in its Community version. For over a decade, it has empowered security testers worldwide, allowing them to efficiently manage and monitor their entire penetration testing process, from initial reconnaissance to comprehensive reporting.

“With Faraday, users can integrate multiple tools and methodologies, including vulnerability scanning, exploitation, and post-exploitation techniques. It supports a wide range of tools, such as Metasploit, Nmap, and Burp Suite, and provides a central console to manage all the testing activities.” says our CEO Fede Kirschbaum

EmploLeaks, a cutting-edge tool developed by our talented Red Team. Leveraging the power of #OpenSource Intelligence techniques, this tool extracts valuable insights by scouring various platforms, including LinkedIn and other social media networks, to compile a comprehensive list of employees associated with a given company. Furthermore, EmploLeaks cross-reference these email addresses with databases like COMB and other internet sources to check for potential password exposure.

By making this tool openly available, it helps organizations proactively identify and mitigate the risk associated with leaked employee credentials, ultimately contributing to a more secure digital ecosystem for everyone.

Our head of security gives us a deeper insight: “We initially developed an internal tool that showed great potential, prompting us to make it open source. Since then, we have been continually developing the tool, with the latest version recently pushed to the repository. Our current focus is on ensuring that the application flow is efficient, and we are working diligently to address any bugs that arise as soon as possible. This is an ongoing process, and we are committed to providing a high-quality tool that is reliable and meets the needs of the community. As we move forward with development, we welcome feedback and contributions from users to help us make the tool even better.

We’re super proud to share that Federico Kirschbaum, Gabriel Franco, and Javier Aguinaga will be taking the stage at Black Hat event in #LasVegas to present these two platforms. Stay tuned for more updates!
