Release v5.7.0

Faraday Release 5.7.0: Streamlining Vulnerability Management Based on Your Feedback

At Faraday, we continuously listen to your feedback and work hard to improve our platform to better suit your needs. In this release, we’ve introduced some updates to our vulnerability management platform that will enhance your navigation experience and make organizing your vulnerability dashboard even easier.

Let’s start!

Highlights

Bulk Update feature for Custom Attributes

As you may already know, our platform allows you to create custom attributes for your vulnerabilities. Now we made it easier for you so you can edit and assign custom attributes in multiple vulnerabilities by right-clicking to select one, multiple, or all of them. This is especially useful for managing large volumes of vulnerabilities, helping you save time by applying changes in just a few clicks.

For example, say you need to update the SLA expiration date for critical vulnerabilities across a workspace. With the bulk update feature, you can easily assign this custom attribute to all relevant vulnerabilities at once.

Searchable Services Table for Better Visibility

We’ve added a search bar to the services table, making it easier to find specific services. This enhancement allows you to quickly search and filter through the table, ensuring you can access and organize critical data with ease.

Now you have full visibility of absolutely everything regarding your attack surface.

Operating List Attributes: Simplify Searches with Comma-Separated Inputs

To completely simplify your security work, we’ve introduced support for searching list attributes, such as tags, hostnames, and CVEs., You can now enter a comma-separated list to efficiently search for vulnerabilities linked to any Asset you provide. You can also utilize the  “contains” operator or the new “is any of” operator in both Vulnerabilities and  Assets search bars.

Pipelines improvement: Affected Asset-Based Job Creation

Affected Service added into vulnerability’s details view

Now you can find more information about your vulnerabilities, with a new view that allows you to check the affected service for each vulnerability.

Plugins Updates

Faraday supports over 160 tools, and we work hard to keep each one of them up to date. This time, we’ve updated the SSlyze plugin, and now support SSlyze version 6.

See you next time!
