This year we took an important step as a company: Faraday landed in Chile. And we did it the right way — with boots on the ground and a presence at one of the region’s leading cybersecurity events, CyberSec 2026.
Here’s how it went.

A new chapter for Faraday in LATAM
Expanding our presence across LATAM means supporting organizations with continuous offensive security and local expertise. That’s why we brought on Vincenzo Giannini as Head of Sales, Chile — the local point of contact for any Chilean company looking to talk about leveling up its security posture.
CyberSec 2026: two days in Santiago
On August 18 and 19, Faraday was on the ground at the Hotel Intercontinental in Santiago for CyberSec 2026, one of the region’s key gatherings for the security community.
Representing the company were:

- Nicolás Bunader — Key Account Manager
Over both days, our conversations kept circling back to one question: how can AI help security teams move beyond simply detecting vulnerabilities, toward actually prioritizing y remediating them?
Two talks, one underlying question
Across those two days, Faraday took the stage twice. Each talk had its own angle, but both started from the same question: how much can we really trust AI today to do offensive security?
The main talk: Can we trust AI to find vulnerabilities?
Martín Tartarelli, CEO of Faraday, gave the most important talk of our time at CyberSec 2026, on August 18.
Every week, a new tool promises autonomous pentesting, automated code analysis, or intelligent vulnerability detection. Martín delivered a technical, honest take grounded in real-world cases, to objectively assess where AI applied to offensive security actually stands today: what it can really do, where it hits concrete technical limits, and where human judgment remains irreplaceable.
Attendees walked away with something more valuable than a demo: a clear framework for cutting through the hype and evaluating AI security tools on real merit.

ADN Hacker: thinking like an attacker
The next day, August 19, Vincenzo Giannini y Nicolás Bunader presented “ADN Hacker: how thinking like an attacker improves your security posture.”
The core idea: the most effective security teams aren’t the ones drowning in the most alerts — they’re the ones who can reason like a real attacker would, finding the path of least resistance and thinking in terms of attack chains instead of isolated vulnerabilities. That mindset is exactly what we’re working to replicate — and scale — with AI in the Faraday platform.
What we’re taking away
Beyond the technical conversations, what we valued most about these two days was something simple: sitting down with Chilean security teams, hearing their real, specific challenges, and showing them firsthand how the Faraday team can help them attack and prioritize with more speed and judgment.
