Faraday v5.15.2

More visibility. More control. More value for your security operations.
This release delivers on long-standing client requests and reinforces our mission to make vulnerability management simpler, more transparent, and more actionable.
With this new version, we’re giving security teams greater traceability over the entire vulnerability lifecycle, more control over access and permissions, and a smoother way to orchestrate remediation across teams.
Highlights
Vulnerability Trace – Full lifecycle tracking for every finding
Gain complete visibility into each vulnerability’s lifecycle. Now you can now see the complete history of every status change — who made it, what was changed, and when it happened.
This unlocks:
- Effortless compliance reporting: instant, auditable records for regulators or customers.
- Smarter remediation analysis: spot bottlenecks, measure time-to-fix, and improve SLAs.
- True team visibility: no more spreadsheets or back-and-forth to know where things stand.
- Try it in seconds:
- Add the Status Trace column from the table settings.
- Use a quick search filter like:
status_trace:”fixed” AND updated_at:[2025-07-01 TO 2025-07-30] |
---|
to instantly see all vulnerabilities marked as fixed in that date range.
(Pro tip: Use this on high-activity workspaces for the best color-coded visualization of changes.)

Custom Roles – Granular access control, built your way
Every organization works differently. Now you can create tailored roles that go beyond the default (Administrator, Asset Owner, Pentester, Client).
Use cases:
- Let a specific dev squad edit only the findings assigned to their project.
- Restrict who can launch agents or manage integrations.
- Provide temporary, limited access for external auditors.
💡 Example: Create a “Dev-Squad A” role with read/write access only to their workspace, while hiding integrations and global settings.
Multi-project Jira integration
Assign findings across several projects at once, avoiding duplicates and improving cross-team coordination.

Analytics Enhancements
In our Analytics section you can visualize your finding in a very clear and concrete way. Find these new functions:
- New pagination for the analytics table view
- New “Creator” field to identify the author of each graph.
- Bulk delete operation for cleaning up graphs more easily
Workspace View Sorting
You can now sort your workspaces for a better view of the ones you are currently working on by:
- Last Modified (default)
- Alphabetical
- Creation Date
New Plugin: SecurityScorecard
Import risk data from SecurityScorecard, to combine third-party risk insights with your vulnerability management data in Faraday — giving you a more complete exposure picture.

Why this release, matters:
- End-to-end traceability = better governance and faster decision-making.
- Custom roles = tighter internal security and more flexible collaboration.
- Stronger integrations = better alignment between security, IT, and development teams.
Faraday v5.15 is about giving you control, clarity, and confidence over your entire vulnerability management process — so you can focus on fixing what truly matters.
