Faraday Security v5.10 & v5.11: Latest Enhancements for Faster Threat Detection

We’re thrilled to kick off the year with a series of enhancements and new features for our vulnerability management platform! One of the highlights is the release of Dark Mode, giving you the flexibility to tailor your view preferences.

We’ve also introduced enhanced security configurations, support for multiple sessions, new integrations and plugins, and so much more.

Update now!

And now, let’s break it down:

Highlights

Authorization for Configuration Endpoint

To enhance security and protect sensitive configuration data, we’ve added authorization requirements to the configuration endpoint. This update ensures that access to critical settings is restricted, and only authorized users can make changes.

Dark Mode Theme

A new dark mode theme is now available for overall improved user experience.

Your workspace should feel right for you. Now, you can customize your experience to match your style and focus. Whether you’re working late or just prefer a sleeker look, this new theme makes your workflow more personal and immersive. Try it now and make the platform truly yours.

ManageEngine Service Desk bidirectional Integration

We are excited to announce the bidirectional integration of our platform with ManageEngine Service Desk. This integration simplifies ticketing workflows and makes it easier for teams to manage vulnerabilities directly within their existing service desk environment. This feature streamlines processes and improves overall efficiency in vulnerability management.

New Scheduler view

Asset Transfer Between Workspaces

A significant new feature for this release is the ability to transfer assets between workspaces. This functionality enables users to move assets, along with their associated services and vulnerabilities to workspaces of determined users.

Permissions can now be tailored to restrict access to specific assets by assigning them to specific workspaces. This ensures better organization and control over asset management.

CVSS v4 Compatibility

With this release, we’ve enhanced full support for CVSS v4, incorporating it into our vulnerability enrichment and risk scoring systems. This enhancement provides more accurate and updates risk assessment metrics, enabling users to better evaluate vulnerabilities. We worked hard to fine-tuned and ensure seamless compatibility.

Saint Scanner Plugin

We’ve launched a new plugin for the Saint scanner, extending our platform’s ability to parse information from other scanning tools. This plugin enables more comprehensive vulnerability detection across infrastructure, offering greater flexibility for security teams.

Enhanced Faraday-CLI

We’ve expanded the capabilities of Faraday-CLI by introducing support for generating multi-workspace executive reports. This feature is particularly beneficial for technical users and those leveraging Faraday Community, enabling a clearer overview of vulnerabilities across workspaces.

New Notifications added for session management.

We have implemented new notifications to enhance session management. Users will no longer be able to have duplicate sessions, and a notification will alert them upon logout.

Import reports in general view

Previously, to import reports in Faraday, users had to navigate into a specific workspace. Now, with the new feature, you can import reports directly from the general view without isolating into a workspace.

See you next time!
