Support for Latest CVSS 4.0

Faraday now supports the latest Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Version 4.0.

With a user-friendly CVSS 4.0 calculator, making it easier to input vector parameters directly through the interface or manually via text. This ensures greater flexibility and precision for users adapting to the newest scoring system.

Why it matters: Staying current with CVSS updates ensures your risk assessments align with the latest standards in the industry. As challenges grow and new advancements emerge, precise vulnerability scoring becomes essential for accurate risk management.  Improved Notifications for Bulk Operations

Notifications are now linked more effectively to their source, helping users quickly identify vulnerabilities requiring action.

Simplified r navigation ensures critical issues are surfaced faster, meaning less time searching and more time resolving vulnerabilities.

Custom Job Filters for Automation

You can now create rules tailored to your unique needs by incorporating any custom attribute into job filters. , transforming complex, time-consuming tasks into streamlined, agile processes. 

This added flexibility empowers you to automate, ensuring it adapts to your specific workflows and requirements.

Enhanced Security with Duplicate Session Detection

Cloud Agent Scheduling

We’ve introduced scheduling for cloud agents, enabling users to save time by running scans automatically at optimal times. This feature adds another layer of automation to simplify vulnerability management.

Enhanced Filtering Options

A new operator, “is one of,” allows filtering by a comma-separated list of values. Users can now efficiently narrow results by asset names, CVEs, tags, or hostnames, boosting agility in managing vulnerabilities.

User Interface Update

We say goodbye to the old dual-login option for a consistent, streamlined experience.

New Features on our Professional License

Pipelines and Agent Scheduling are now included in the Faraday Professional license, enabling advanced automation capabilities.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved an issue preventing password recovery when a license expired.
  • Fixed mocked data in the issue tracker field for custom template testing (executive reports).
  • Addressed input field issues during manual agent execution.
  • Adjusted the TARGETS and PORT_LIST fields in Nmap agents, changing their type from string to list for enhanced usability.
